
Cadence Giersbach’s abstract paintings and sculptures describe the natural world. She has a BA from Vassar College, an MFA from Rutgers University, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She has exhibited in the US, Mexico, and Europe. One of her four public art commissions is the mosaic at the Myrtle-Wyckoff MTA subway station in Brooklyn. Awards include a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowship and a NYFA fellowship in Painting.
